Vanimal van racking storage systems are designed and produced on-site in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire; shipping throughout the UK and all across Europe. Our VW ID. Buzz Cargo van racking and shelving units are made from heavy-duty, high-quality, 12mm Phenolic treated, black hexaboard finish plywood. This provides an attractive and resilient textured finish, giving the van racks a strong, stable, and durable build. The external facias are a hexagonal patterned textured Phenolic on one side and 120gm smooth Phenolic on the other.

This adjustable compartment double-racking system comprises the rear NS and rear OS racks; each rack has nine moveable dividers. Both of these racks have been designed for a tailored fit, maximising space and following the contours of the body of the VW ID. Buzz Cargo van. Should you need additional storage, simply add extra racking units at the front of the van to organise, and carry more cargo.

With two rear racks, each having three shelves and with nine dividers included, this racking system offers exceptional versatility. Each shelf can be divided into compartments of varying sizes to suit your requirements. Remove all the dividers, and you have three longer flat shelves per rack. Long shelves one day, compartments the next. This flexibility ensures ample space for storing tools, cargo, parts, and other loose items, keeping everything secure and organised while on the move. Additionally, if you require both racks comprised solely of compartments, extra dividers are available for purchase.

We do advise drilling 3mm pilot holes before beginning to screw the racking together to help prevent these smooth finish outside facias from cracking.

Easy-Assembly Push Fit Racking & Shelving Design

The Vanimal branded van racking kit you’ll receive will arrive flat-packed making it more manageable to handle and deliver. Full assembly instructions are included and depending on the design, each rack should take you between 10 and 30 minutes to put together with its easy-to-build push-fit design (mortise and tenon joints + optional wood glue, not provided). Although made of heavy-duty 12mm Phenolic Plyboard and a very rigid build, it is still lightweight, making it simple to lift into the back of your van for installation.

Our racking is specifically designed for each van. However, if ply-lined, you may need to trim the end panels slightly due to differences in ply lining from van to van. We've carefully provided accurate descriptions, and where possible, photos of the actual van racks. Racking FAQs for Left-Hand Drive Van Owners:

All our van racking is fully interchangeable so can be used on either the left- or right-hand side of the vehicle, meaning that it is perfect for LHD vans too.

Speedy Delivery

You will receive a tracking code for your order as soon as it has been dispatched from our Vanimal production facility.

The courier will need a signature when delivering your order so please ensure that someone is at the delivery destination. A safe place to leave the delivery can be assigned if arranged in advance.
